This game can be played with the whole class with coloured blocks, sticks or pieces of coloured paper. The instructions are on the first page of the resource. It practices identifying individual sounds in words of different length. The list of nonsense words used in the game have been taken from Seeing Stars by Nancy Bell, an excellent resource for teaching visualisation in reading.
